FAQs
What is the dress code?
We want everybody to enjoy dressing in their favourite celebratory clothing and finery. Remember the weather in May is unpredictable and there will be periods of being outside and walking (weather permitting).

Is the wedding outdoors?
The ceremony and reception are taking place indoors, but we are planning for an outdoor cocktail hour. The boat has both an upper deck and an indoor saloon, for whatever the weather may bring.
There is an 18 minute walk from Chiswick Pier to High Road House, with taxis allocated for those less able to walk.

Are children invited?

We are limiting invites to children within our immediate family and babes in arms.

Will there be parking on site?

There is limited parking and we will be travelling to the reception via boat. We recommend using public transport or booking a taxi for arrival and departure. If you need help planning your travel, please reach out and we will be happy to help.

Will it be an unplugged ceremony?

Yes. Please do not use your phone to take photographs during the ceremony. We have amazing photographers to do that for us!
Please refrain from sharing photographs of the wedding on social media until after the day is over - everyone who we want to share our wedding day with will already be there.
Will there be food?

Light refreshments will be served during cocktail hour, and a two-course sit-down meal with sharing platters will be provided at the reception. Please make sure you eat an ample lunch before you come.

What time does it end?

Final farewells at midnight, but please don't feel obligated to stay until the very end.

Is there a gift list?

No. The greatest gift you can give us is your time, support, and good vibes on this important day. We look forward to celebrating with you - the people who have shaped our lives the most.
